50,000 points after spending $1,000 in 3 months:
http://www.dansdeals.com/go/marriott1/

Users are reporting that Chase (ask via SM) will agree to match the 70k offer (or even 80k, apparently) if you spend $3,000.

Once you get the anniversary Category 1-5 certificate, it stays in your account, even if you cancel your card and don't pay the AF.

@dan doesn't have a Marriott link?
Doesn't look like there is one currently. Not since the 70k offer ended.

I churned the card and got the 70k points but never received the free night. Who should I contact about this - Chase or Marriott?

Are you sure it's not under your account online?

I didn't get it. The free night is issued by Marriott as opposed to the points which are issued by chase. Marriott was adamant that the first free night is for new card holders only and for my second card I would only get the anniversary night. I pushed and got them to give me the anniversary night right then which was a cat. 1-5

It's not online. I'll try and call Marriott, thanks. Was there anything in particular that you said that helped?

FYI. We had reservations using the free night from getting the credit card and had to cancel. The free night expired today. I called Friday and they extended it for 6 months. Very nice of them.

from the marriott website you can still be rerouted to the 70k offer. i just went into my account and went to the credit card section and the 70k offer for consumer card link is still there https://www.marriott.com/rewards/earn-points/credit-card-rewards.mi

i just tried in chrome and it worked   IE it didnt.  could be it is because i am logged in to my account in Chrome

looks like this is only for specific marriott members

Supposedly, just create a new rewards number.
