I went to the city and had a caricature artist paint me proposing to my wife- while I was really just sitting next to her ...
(My brother went to him first and explained what I want, so we can just sit down and she wouldn't chap till afterwords... It worked out it end, but had a little botch up...)

I finally got a chance to read the whole thing tonight so i knew it was here

I made sure to get there before her with enough time to get things set up.

I explained to the guy what I wanted, he definitely seemed like he'd done it before. He drew me a sample picture to make sure we were all on the same page.
When we came back, we sat down and I told the guy to "make something fun, in color" and that was that.
