To summarize, On a rating system 1-10, I'd give the EY Apartment a 8.5, the same rating I'd give for  SQ F and EK F.
The reason, Due to the fact that the seat barley reclines, EY could've easily pulled off a home run, but that one flaw kills it.

I've already flown 8 of the best F cabins, which I'll list in order of rating IMHO

(1) 1. EY F Cons: Seat doesn't recline much, Lavatory is small (relative to EK F)

(1) 2. SQ F Cons: No lounge area, No shower

(1) 3. EK F Cons: Suite is narrow, small, relative to SQ and EY

(2) 4. CX F Cons: Not the newest aircraft, No shower (the A380/787 flight experience due to the quietness of the engines really makes a big difference)

(3) 5. Lh 744 F

(4) 6: BA F

(4) 7: AA F (A321)

(4) 8: UA F

I'd put EK, EY, SQ on a tie for #1 and BA, UA, AA at #4

I only wrote about the cons of the top 4 to bring out the differences.

Honestly, the business class seat is stunning.

ETA: I'd submit it's the nicest looking business seat in the biz. Probably is objectively the nicest, too...

While anyone can argue the merits of EK v. EY v. SQ for #1, how you put BA F (never mind UA F) on the same level as LH 744 is mind-boggling.
