Coming from someone whose done both, MHO is to save the points and get the extra seat for the baby so u can be hands free. (unless your getting a seat for the baby in J)

If the baby is less then 6-9 months I would go with UA as you can get a bassinet.

Not worth taking the A321 F with a baby if there's 2 adults. you're better off with 2 seats next to each other, which gives you some space to put he baby down, in a lie flat J. IME.

Right now only 1 seat in F is available for the return, no J.
Can I book F and downgrade to J or I will lose my miles?

I'm looking for information on the best tickets to get using Chase Ultimate Rewards for flying JFK-LAX-JFK- would use points to upgrade to lie flat business if it's a good deal. Thanks- I'm new to this. I looked at United and they don't have business class on these flights that I'm selecting.

One way/Round trip: Round Trip
Non-stop/Maximum stops/Any: Non Stop
From: All airports from which you can depart: JFK
To: All airports which you can arrive at. LAX
Departure dates: Feb 22
Return airports: JFK
Return dates: Feb 25
Class: First/Business/Coach/Any Any- best deal
Seats: Total number of people traveling over the age of 2: 1
Alliance/Airline: What airline or alliance are you looking to fly with: Any though on coach, preferably jetblue or virgin
