Coming from someone whose done both, MHO is to save the points and get the extra seat for the baby so u can be hands free. (unless your getting a seat for the baby in J)

Not worth taking the A321 F with a baby if there's 2 adults. you're better off with 2 seats next to each other, which gives you some space to put he baby down, in a lie flat J. IME.

I'm looking for information on the best tickets to get using Chase Ultimate Rewards for flying JFK-LAX-JFK- would use points to upgrade to lie flat business if it's a good deal. Thanks- I'm new to this. I looked at United and they don't have business class on these flights that I'm selecting.
