Just got an email from them
We're giving you the opportunity to let us know if you're a member of both loyalty programs, so we can combine your Dividend Miles activity into your AAdvantage account when the programs combine in the second quarter of this year.
Don't have an AAdvantage account? You don't need to do anything. We'll create one for you, assign you a new number and automatically transfer your Dividend Miles balances once we combine programs.
Have accounts in both programs? Here's how to get started:
1. Review your personal information
Log in to your Dividend Miles and AAdvantage accounts to make sure your date of birth, email, personal and contact information are updated. To ensure account security, your information must be identical in both accounts for the match to be successful. You'll see a prompt to match when you log in. If you know that your information matches in both accounts, enter your account number. Otherwise, choose Remind Me Later, and check your information.
2. Identify accounts to match
After logging in to either account, follow the prompt to match your accounts or select the link at the top of the my account page. You'll be asked to provide your other account number, and you'll receive a confirmation once your accounts are matched. Learn more about matching accounts »
3. Next steps
Nothing changes just yet. After we combine loyalty programs in the second quarter of this year, we'll move your Dividend Miles award mileage balance, Preferred-qualifying activity and million mile balance into your existing AAdvantage account on a one-to-one ratio.
