Just opened the itinerary and found this:

This reservation has been cancelled.

Does this mean they will issue a refund or?

So it seems that UA tries to blame it on a THIRD PARTY software which caused these fares. They seem to think that this line will help them avoid the DoT rules. personally i think that this is a stupid approach on their end. The Dot won't care who caused them to display the wrong prices. I would argue that all the bookings were made from NON Denmark folks. That might help them.

Still unsure if they are all being cancelled or some.
I wonder if it makes a difference if your flight hits the U.S or not.

It was indeed a 3rd party. This glitch had no connection with United. They were just the only generous airline that lets you choose any point of sale online, and you still fly out from any other country.
Because of IATA's exchange error, United should not be at fault for this.

And FYI, I did book myself several tickets. I just felt that United has all rights to cancel this time.

They're not lying... it was showing up on ITA so someone who provides exchange rate data to GDSs fat fingered the rate. United was just involved because it was possible to manipulate their site to purchase it.

Except UA won't be "at fault" for this.

These types have firms have insurance. That's who should cover it.

Not sure how UA saying it's someone else's fault gets them out of the DoT regs aim.

If they cancel the reservation, then yes, but why don't you wait to see if it even posts. My hunch is it won't.
