Go to Marriott.com put in your hotels and see how that particular hotel costs in points.
In general it is hard to get great value for marriottt redemption.

I've seen as high as 2cpp but usually it's much lower.
But I wouldn't redeem for less than 1.25cpp.

i would not call 2 points for 1 UA miles terrible if you dont stay in Marriott that makes the signup bonus to 30/35k UA miles

I SMd to get the 80k pts offer matched but they responded that they'll only match 70k. When did they have the 80k offer? Was it a targeted offer? Does anyone have a link?

sorry its 2.045 with a package (270k points transfers to 132k UA) and 2.24 for regular transfer (50k points transfer to 50k UA miles) so 70k points will be 31.25
