We were looking for the source that they are accepting credit cards besides American Express today. The article I posted indicates that until next year it's business as  I. E. no credit cards other than American Express until at least next year

Thats what I got from the article as well. Was the only thing. No way anyone thought they would simply stop accepting CC's. Lets see if they go with the same as in Canada or can get something a bit "better" in regards to the CC's total program.

In a way that makes sense. If I wasn't on DDF the only reason I would get an Amex would be to shop at Costco so it stands to reason that I would apply for a Costco card.

I know someone who has a macy's amex to shop at costco, and also to get macy's coupons.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

what does this mean?

Quote
Responding to speculation in the card industry that Citigroup gave too much to Costco in negotiations earlier, Corbat said the deal is "without a doubt accretive" to shareholders and would be even if Citigroup did not have deferred tax assets it can use to shelter income from taxes.

wasn't asking about that word. was asking what deferred tax assets have to do with the costco citigroup deal.

Amazing that the average sale on Amex is so high with all the penny swipes for EDP. Just shows how high the MS is.

Beginning or end of June? It makes a big difference for the Chase Freedom 5X.

ETA: It's mentioned in the other thread.
