Same thing happened to me so I called the police. Police told me to take it up with Amex/Target.

we had to file a QX114 and they said they'll mail it back in 2-12 weeks. B'h I have 75 others to work off meanwhile.

I hope it's not dead, I just finally got mine! Actually I got 4 and have activated 2, with 2 that are still in the sealed package with $1 on each. Didn't want to go too crazy at first.

Anyway, I loaded 2 of the RedCards this morning with $1400 each. Only weird thing was that when the CSR put in $1400 as the amount it said "amount too small". So we tried a higher number, no luck. Having read DDF I knew this could actually mean the number was too high. So, I loaded $1,000 and then $400 on the same card w/o a problem. Did that for both cards.

I'm no where near the expert level of many of you, but just getting the cards while on a biz trip was pretty awesome. The closes place to me is 2 hours away and that store charges for the cards. I got these at $0 fee and now just got 2800 MR. Again, it's not going to take me 1st Class to the Maldives, but it's something for virtually no work.

While I respect your status on the DDF, I respectfully disagree. My comment, while lengthy and perhaps containing additional information, was to demonstrate that I did not experience anything that would indicate the card was "dying".

If the moderator believes my post is in the wrong thread I will leave it to them to remove or relocate it.

Thank you for the clarification. I agree there should be a sarcasm font. Although, from my years of lurking it might just be the regular font in many of the threads.

You're right, that would likely be easier. Although, there is always Comic Sans. Which, as many know, is the laughing stock of fonts.

i had an interesting issue loading my redcard tonight. anyone who can guess why gets a +1 from me.
