it's still working as of today. I hope dan ends up with egg on his face and a big YMMV from us all.

A DDFer just left a Target and manager told him a memo came over from corporate that starting tomorrow, system will be hard-coded not to accept CCs

If the system is hard-coded then it wont be YMMV. Unless you somehow know how to get around Target's hard-coded system.
Then again, I dont know if anyone has actually seen the memo that says that it will be hard-coded so it might actually be YMMV, along with pretty much everything else in this game.

None of the hard coded changes were ever publicized  in a memo. They just appeared. So its wait and see.
