There's still the chance that they give the $10 credit like they did by the Seagate 640GB passport deal.. Free money is better then nothing 

Wasn't that one sold by Amazon? This one's sold by Target (a 3rd party).

I believe so. But Target's still a big chain store, and it can potentially ruin their name if they don't honor their "mistakes" (even though they have many disclaimers all over "the fine print"). If they don't honor the price (hopefully they will, but doubtful) there is a chance they will offer some sort of compensation instead
