I've offered not-frum relatives alternate flight options, but I won't book them on shabbos.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Why don't you talk to your lor first and verify that it is forbidden.. If he happens to permit it,  then we can discuss our personal feelings

+1 I will. Was just looking for some type of consensus.

Ya right.

"Hey - I wanna book a new flight with you. I even made sure it won't fall on Saturday this time"
"Great - when would you like to fly?"
"September 23rd."

Work hard, Play harder!

I don't understand. You need to find out the halacha first based on your situation. Without that,  this discussion is meaningless

Yes I know that but at the same time I would like to know what people's experiences were. Yes I do understand I must call a LOR, that does not render the conversation meaningless. I also put it on JS for a reason.

doing the right thing in name of religion should not affect you negatively
That really Who says!!?? But the first who says is wrong because that's the promise shabbos, I think.

I don't book Jews on Shabbos flights, as per my LOR. And I have found that most times (not always...) they are respectful of my position and are not upset by it. In fact, it just happened last week, and when the guy's plans changed and he wanted to fly two days later, he called me back.

Would you fly on Shabbos? If not, then how can you book another Jew? He's just as holy as you are.

+1.
But I love how everyone is paskening without ever learning the halachos.
There is ashach who says that mesayeah (as opposed to lifnei ever) does not apply to a mumar. There is a dispute as to whether we pasken like this schach. AYLOR

I have never looked deeply into these halachos but i have spoken to people representing leadership of the entire spectrum, from modern orthodox to ultra orthodox and I didn't find any that said I'm allowed to

1. How do you know what people have asked or not asked a rov? That's mighty presumptuous of you.
2. Even if they haven't asked a rov, everything that has a heter has to be done? What's your problem with Jews expressing extra sensitivity?
3. Since I mention sensitivity, I know you had a tayva to quote that sha"ch, but did you also have to whip out that "mumar" language. Even if you hadn't noticed that people on this thread mentioned that the shayla came up with non-frum relatives, it would still be insensitive.

That's all.

1. I think it was clear from the way people posted that they weren't basing it on a psak
2. Maybe and maybe not. But that should be based on the advise of your Rav as to whether that is appropriate.
3. As did I mention relatives.  And I don't think there is a difference between saying not frum and mumar. I'm sorry if that offended you. And I didn't have a "taavah" to quote the shach (presumptuous of you?). I thought it appropriate to quote the relevant halachik source when having a halachik discussion
