It seems like there are always two sides on these two kinds of threads ("Is it okay to stopover in ____?" "Is it okay to vist ____?" "Would you fly on _____?". It also seems like those two sides are pretty consistent with those who have been and those who have not been to these places. I am actually fascinated to hear more. Also, are there any airlines, airports, places to visit that people who have been there will say, "I would NEVER go there again"?

In general people only go to where they feel comfortable going.

People who would go to AMM DXB AUH etc. Might not want to go to Iran for example...

Maybe this discussion should be forked, but many people who have flown Spirit Airlines will tell you they don't plan on ever doing it again...

So you would compare AMM to AUH, DXB?

Security-wise I think so, though I was never in AMM

NO way!

I found Jordanians, including the Airport security to be Low class people,  VS Dubai, Abu Dhabi, who give more of a higher class impression.

In Jordan people cut lines without blinking , not once, but a couple of times! , even when I stood in front of the line at customs a guy just pulled up right in front of me.

Have in mind, most Jordanians are Palestinians refugees .........

Not even close! Wasn't in AUH but was in AMM and DXB Night and Day with everything.

ALOL, but there is a difference between annoying, miserable, even painful on one hand and pashut dangerous on the other hand. When most people start these kinds of threads, I don't think they mean are the seats hard or are the lines long.  ;)
