help setting up obi with google voice

Hi,

was hoping someone here can help me.  I just set up my google voice number with my new obi.  my online obi account says it is set up.  but when i try to make a call from that phone, it rings, and then immediately switches to a busy signal. 

i emailed customer service and i'm waiting to hear from them.  thought this might be faster.

did i do something wrong in setting it up?  am i supposed to be setting up the google voice to be forwarded to a specific number?  does anyone have step by step for dummies instructions to do this?

They actually relied pretty quickly yesterday.  Posting it in case it can help anyone else. My obi is now working beautifully with Google voice!

1. Login to your Google Voice account
2. Go to "Settings" located on the top right (cog wheel)
3. On the Phone tab, you will see a "Delete" option under Google Chat
4. Click "Delete" Google Chat
5. Open a new browser and login in to www.gmail.com using your Gmail
account.
Click on your profile and select "revert to old chat'  if Gmail is a Hangout account.


6. Make a call out from  your Gmail Call Phone by clicking on the Phone
icon.

7. Once you have done so, Google Chat
 should appear again in https://www.google.com/voice#phones
8.Make sure to check the checkbox for Google Chat

Are you able to make and receive calls from the OBi now?

On my Obi / Google voice, voicemail picks up after only 2 short rings, is there a setting somewhere to adjust that?

I tested my obi202 with a fax machine, and it works perfectly for faxing. Regarding sending from Israel, the obi may have to be initially setup in the US, not sure about that though.
