Pardon if this exist in a thread somewhere, I couldn't pull up the info. I applied for 2 chase cards yesterday, got instant approval on one and the other said we received your submission, you can close your browser, today when I called chase they told me they don't see a second application. From experience, if I try to reapply for that second application is Chase going to pull my credit again? (they have my score and report from yesterday)

Yes, it will be a second pull.

They always pull, even with multiple apps in the same day, they just get "merged" into one pull on the CR if done the same day. So two different days, two different pull dates on your CR.

source? as far as I understood you *could* dispute your credit report to merge them - but this is manual process. My understanding was that it 2+ ccs from same bank - (where you need to recon) - there will be 2+ (number of cc recons) pulls.

Your understanding is incorrect. Multiple pulls from the same bank on one day WILL get rolled up. Hence the concept of mbm. Otherwise it's useless.
As recon is generally not a new pull, Def  ot if it's done the same day, and even if it was pulled again it would roll up.

Many had a very easy time calling the CB and asking if it makes sense they got 2 pulls a few days apart from one app and the CB removed them
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Not arguing that, just referring to multiple pulls in one day getting automatically rolled up.

that's why its called a 2 browser method and a 2 window method.
