What grade? Does the government subsidize?

There is, however it involves too much to be worthwhile most of the time. Some schools are more accommodating than others, making it worthwhile for the parents.

"If you have more than 200,000 points or miles accrued how many do you have?".

I know they ask how much money I have/make, but THIS? Makes me feel violated...

they also say :I/We hereby consent to [school name redacted] obtaining a report of my credit record and using the information from that report in determining whether to grant a scholarship .

I assume this would be a soft pull right?

I don;t even mind submitting most of it, but seriously, whats the point?  WHy not just tax return and year end statements. Why the need for monthly statements, AND cancelled checks?  I pay rend through redcard and before that from capital one so i don't even have cancelled checks. SO that means I don't pay rent?  It's just stupid.

Oh yeah, not only do they ask for name and balances of checking, savings, and money market,  they also ask for the account numbers! Not gonna happen!!

sarcasm or not?  When verizon pulls credit for cell phone bills or my landlord pulled before my rental it was soft. What determines hard vs soft?

The hard pull is more for lending decision vs soft pull which is more of a background check.
