I have the Amex offer of $100 off $350. My rental total is $289.31. I assume a few charges will be added at the end, for gas and tolls. Are there any charges I might be able to add when I return it if I need to get over that $350 threshold? Also, I'm assuming the $200 deposit authorization will not trigger the offer. Any thoughts?

Anyone ever had issue with first rental?

At first they claimed CC was an issue, then DL, and then the app didn't allow rental since it was same day booking, and others had higher priority, even though I had a confirmation.... Wasted over an hour, staff wasn't helpful... Had to leave without a vehicle.
Very unimpressive first experience.

I would like to make note of an update to Silvercar as I have not seen this mentioned. Silvercar charges a one time $4.95 service charge for using tolls.

made reservation summer for an audi A4 and want to switch the reservation to a convertible is there a way to do that? making a new reservation is not a option as the price doubled for my dates since i have booked it.

I need rental in san diego for 7 days form 3rd week of June. Amex has a Silvercar offer but says expire date of 05/20. This means it won't work for me as my rental is in June? Have to be completed by 05/20th?
There are other silvercar deals such as 2 days off of 4 days but the total still comes to over $300 where as if I book with Avis, it is only around $200 for 7 days . I know it is not AUDI car but saving is big deal to me.

Are you referring to coupon code? Did you try the putting the coupon code in online with the dates of your rental?

I saw this on my receipt for my Passover rental. I got them to waive it because it wasn't their policy when I made the reservation.
