SPG to AA transfer- 14 business days and still waiting!

whats the best way to transfer spg-aa for non matching names? making a new ffn with the spg name?

That works. You can also transfer the SPG to another person's SPG, providing they live in the same household.

This is a nightmare...
I've called SPG and they told me that the points are not @ SPG anymore and they do not have any way to retrieve the points.
AA says that they do not see the points either...

OK... Finally got to the bottom of this.
SPG will not help, do not bother calling them.
I had to call AA and request a supervisor who finally located the missing points. AA was not able to send them back to SPG but rather, they suggested to send them to an AA account as long as it is the same name than the SPG account name.

Got the points a few hours after that.
