Did this work?
I haven't tried it yet. I was waiting for the annual fee to post, and than I got lazy.

Darn I recently applied under old offer. Does Barclays match offers?
Update: Got matched after speaking to a manager. They first said they match only within 30 days of signup, but manager let it go in the end!

If i have four cards open with BRCLYS :
a 3rd or 4th   LH that I opened in Jan , and a AA that i opened same day, plu the original US air Converted to AA, and a Rewards card that I dwgrd from older LH
Card, what the best way to proceed to get another AA.
My total CL with them is $38,500 with 19k CL on rewards card.

FWIW Brclys is nice to me

close some cards and then apply for another. but leave open some CL. I have had no issues getting 2 at a time if I only have one open

Close the oldest AA card and which other one?  Dont want to close both   AA and then apply for another?

If not auto approved , I thought having 19k on the rewards I could offer it up at recon or part  of the CL ?

Compared to amex and chase yes.

FYI  I closed my oldest AA aviator  9/2  leaving one aviator, one rewards, and one LH M & M open.

Thought I would Gamble and apply. Got the " let you know in 10 days mssg,  and called in . Recon guy said I see it was denied cause we only allow one of the same type of product, then he said I see here that you recently closed it LOL ( still had one open ). Smoozed a little and suggested in the past they or other banks would take CL from other cards .
He said how much of the rewards do you want to move to your new approved AA Aviator card . Told him $10K and thanks a lot .
Now do I risk going for the arrival card ?  AFraid a new set of eyes might cancel the BRCYS AA . Will apply and if denied wait till I have aviator in hand , then call recon

ETA  Denied , called in, too many CC requests in last 24 months . Good Night
