Did you receive these by mail or email? I received one about the changes and rising AF both by mail and email, but nothing after.

Thanks, the second letter shows all the discontinued benefits as current, they definitely messed up.

Received an offer in mail for AA Aviator Business card with 65k sign up bonus for $1k spend and another 10k bonus for first purchase with employee card. $95 annual fee.
Looks like it's a public offer.
And it seems like a high offer for low spend.

Can I close my account after my points post and request annual fee credit without risking losing points?

Is it worthwhile to pay the annual fee and just close 3-4 months later in hopes that it will give my approval of new card higher chances of approval?

Anyone applied for the Barclay aadvantage business mastercard and canceled to avoid the first year AF?  Applied in mid June, got the bonus and AF charged a week ago. Wondering if they take back the miles already posted on my AA account?

Okay, I just took the plunge and closed the account via secure message.

Will they automatically credit the annual fee if the card is less then 60 days old?

I'd rather avoid the phone call and I now have limited online access and therefore I'm not able to send another secure message

First year AF? I too got charged AF 2 weeks ago after getting my bonus, my only fear is that they will take away the 75K miles that are posted on my Aadvantage account. Will they? If not I would call to get back the $95 AF I already paid

whats the latest rules of how long you must wait from closing to re opening (red aviator and business) to get the bonus.

i forget was the us airways card converted into the red aviator? i closed that card over a year ago for sure maybe even 2 years. im pretty sure it was converted and then they gave me another year free to keep the card.

After reading the T&C of their companion certificate, I can't think of anything more useless (not even a BOC :) ).

no hard rules.

really?

its funny when i closed my jet blue card and they were reading me the terms i think they said something like "you may never be able to get this card or points again in the future" something along those lines.

any data points of people closing and then trying to sign up and getting approved in a short amount of time recently?
