AA award ticket - please help!

I'm going from nyc to LA on feb 22 and returning feb 24.
i want to book AA business (business/first mile saver),
how do i  get the mileage reduced(from 50,000 to 37,500), do i need any code.....

tried googling but couldn't find anything,any help would be greatly appreciated!

If the cheap booking class is available, it will show automaticly. If it only shows you non-saver, that means its not available. No code, no magic

do i book first and then call with code or i need to book over the phone with a fee ?

On the main site I think dan suggests putting a hold? and finishing over the phone? Do a search.

I was trying to book 2 return tickets either in business or first, and after i reserved one there were no more seats available.
I tried calling, but they said nothing they could do.
I was very surprised, especially since there are around 7 flights a day.
