Hyatt False Advertising to Solicit Frddie Votes
« on: March 09, 2015, 11:45:13 AM »
So I got the below email from Hyatt: :o :o

I emailed and called and pushed and prodded but was left with nothing.

Should I contact my lawyer?

Media?

Should I just ignore it?

Paging AJK: If they actually do offer full breakfast and the average breakfast is worth $50 (two people) and there are 30,000 diamond members with an average of 40 nights a year, do they owe each member $2000 per year? If the average member is HGP diamond for 3 years, that is a total of $180,000,000???

If they do not actually offer full breakfast and they are lying to solicit votes, does that mean that a competing hotel group should sue them for them losing business due to false advertising? How much are these Freddies worth?

What's the issue?
They're clearly sending it to you as a diamond and they offer breakfast to diamonds.

Meh.
It upsets me to no end when I go to a hotel as someone who eat mostly kosher and the club only has one or two things I can eat when they want an extra $45 dollars per person for full breakfast (GH SZ) no matter who I sweet talk or complain to.

Their Seattle's Best coffee is good. Coffee and fruit is all that's Kosher/CY/pareve in most places. I personally would choose the Sheraton Club Lounge for plat members over the Hyatt Diamond breakfasts when given a choice. More hours and more Kosher selection in most places....

exactly -- and you'd probably still prefer the selection that the Sheraton Club Lounges offer each morning. Plus they have an evening spread of food and they are open until 10pm each night. Juices, drinks, coffee, microwave, chips, fruit, etc...
