  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

For that price you could probably build a gated community.

I have long thought it would be wise to buy up a few square blocks in Detroit and build a gated community of lavish condos.

Some of the houses are less than 15 minutes from the Chabad schools in Oak Park, and about 20-30 minutes from the Kosher establishments.

Vegas has some great prices on some great houses that are not far at all from the Jewish community.

Ok before we get all excited about Detroit. The weather sucks, The food sucks, the area sucks! Now that that's out of the way, shallots is only a 4 hour drive, the airport is nice (delta terminal), and the westin in Southfield can be gotten for $55 on Priceline, at least when I was living in my igloo there.

I am talking about a community within a short commute of some of America's best Chinuch (outside NYC), with Kosher food, etc. and it is centrally located

If you're Chabad, I'd say DTW is actually even better chinuch than NYC.
