You're not paying for a watch. You're paying for wearable technology that just happens to be called a watch. If telling time was the main function, replacing it every two yeasrs would be insane.

Still not sure I get it. You are buying a product that gives you notifications so that you don't have to take your phone out of your pocket?

Your phone tells time but many phone owners still wear watches. Maybe you want your notifications as quick as you want to know the time.
