CX business class: JFK-YVR or YVR-JFK?

Planning a one way flight, either JFK-YVR or YVR-JFK, on CX business class.  I've never flown business before (on any airline).  Is one direction a better experience than the other?  (Better lounge?  KSML?  Anything else?)

KSML is slightly better on the way to JFK. Same 777 product.

BA lounge in JFK is a lot bigger than the CX lounge in YVR.

Depends on the route your taking. In this case if you go JFK to YVR, you will then clear customs and won't be able to access the CX lounge regardless, because you will be landside.

No. Once you land in JFK you go straight to customs.
