Close you probably need at least 1:15! they close the desk usually an hour before flight.

Ive arrived for international flight just under an hour before and they wouldn't let me check luggage.

So...
luggage?

But if you're not checking luggage you should be ok.

If u know you'll be inside the terminal then sure! When checking I usually don't do much more. If I'm not sure if I'll have time I'll take a smaller suitcase and a garment bag instead of a big suitcase so I can take as carry on.

Make sure you are checked in and arrive at the counter at least 1 hour before. You are cutting it close.

If you don't have any baggage to check in and have your boarding pass already no need to show up an hour before, but yes it is recommended to come earlier. Maybe if you have pre you can feel safer when you arrive an hour before the flight.

I got to the DL terminal 1hr before on domestic and missed my flight due to the long lines at security. You're really cutting it close.
Edit: flew in J - even the priority security line was really long, and there's a long walk to the gates.

Sat night late = little/no security lines.  Not checking should be fine.

In YYZ, with Nexus + precheck, I show up to the airport <T-30 to departure and have not missed a flight. (Boarding pass in hand, no luggage)
