I thought ESCOs end up costing more in the long run, as they tend to jack their prices up.
That depends on whether it is done properly or not. That said, I don't recommend for houses.

I'm dealing with high(ish, as that's relative) volume and multiple companies/brokers monitoring every change (including capacity), so while there is no crystal ball, we generally come out relatively safe.

I'm really curious how they make money on this. From the amount of solicitation, they're obliviously making decent money. This isn't a some houses, it's a decent portfolio of a few k units.
