There isn't much that shocks me online, but if you really meant this, I am shocked anyone can say that.

I hate to say it but it'll be hard to take your ask for desperate help seriously again. If a silly thing like collecting cups can be worse than a passport issue...

If you'd get stuck in a foreign country with no passport and need help contacting an embassy, I'd probably say go buy a shot glass.

Maybe there is something I am missing, but times people ask for desperate help on DDF have been collecting money for a widow or a rabbi facing criminal charges, but to ask for desperate help to find a shot glass just seems like you need to reevaluate what serious problems are.

Asking for help with your hobby is fine, but how you did it seems wrong to me.

i hope i didn't disrupt the flow of this wonderful forum, if you think i did something ridiculously out of place then i suggest you take a couple minutes to re-orient yourself with this forums.

though i have had serious passport issues in both Russia and Egypt and for some reason i cared more about this (Disclaimer: i may be slightly crazy)

Wow that's really nice. I would have gone for more unique on my trip(s), but 2 things were bothering me:
1) Europe was our first trip/collecting and we were going to need like 20 of them, so I was reluctant to spend $$$ on nicer ones. Tried keeping them all at <4euro.
2) My OCD was forcing me to want only ones that were the size of a classic shotglass, which greatly limited our options.
