Easiest Card w/ a Good Bonus Offer to Get w/ Short History
« on: March 23, 2015, 07:24:22 PM »
My girlfriend wants to join the MS club with RedCard, but we aren't sure which card with a good bonus is the easier for someone with a small history to get. Any suggestions?

Theres a credit card for beginners thread somewhere, ask there for best results.
It really depends on how short history your talking about. I find that chase was more concerned with shirt cc history than other banks. Perhaps try an Amex card maybe starwoods.

I'm not asking about how to build credit. I have about 15 cards and have been through that process, so know how to teach my girlfriend how to do so. What I don't know is how to decipher between relatively easy cards to get and super easy cards to get. I am looking for the easiest card to get that has a good bonus and is worth risking a hard pull for the chance at a big bonus.

I'm thinking maybe the Citi AA card? I don't want to do an Amex card, as MS with them would likely lead the bank to do a FR to her account. What about the Arrival card?

Citi AA is pretty easy to get especially if you add her to one of your citi cards

Yes. Read the thread before commenting, as your comment has nothing to do with a single question asked.

umm... yes. you want to teach your gf how to sign up for 15 cards, but you need to decipher what cards are easy and what arent while maximizing your bonuses...

dude, instead of talking about your gf so much, read what i wrote.... Start with a discover IT Miles card. An easy great monetizing CC out there. after 2 months, 4 bm a chase UA, SP, Freedom and BA.

SMH. I don't need your advice on building credit. This thread is not about that, as I've made clear.

It's okay. Other people gave me useful answers to what I actually asked. You can go now.

I know someone who got declined from chase for too little cc history.   Would waiting 2 months after signing up for other cards help ?
