I just got an email from the rep I was dealing with. It is very cute and naive (you will see why) BUT don't let this make you think that it would be "kosher style". I (as can anyone else that would want to do this trip) can always call them and further elaborate OR say who it is I want those meals from and I am 100% certain that it will not be an issue.
It was lovely speaking with you a while ago.
We are in the process of checking the costs associated with preparing kosher meals on Necker Island and would like to know whether you would like everything to be blessed and prepared kosher on island (requiring a rabbi to be brought in, new pots, pans, etc) or whether you would be happy for pre-made meals to be flown in with crockery and cutlery and served to you on island having already been blessed. Please let us know and we will check on the extra costs for you.
We look forward to hearing from you.
ETA: I actually think from the context of the email that she is simply referring to the Rabbi as the mashgiach as she does mention bringing a Rabbi in. This certainly sounds like more then kosher - style.
