singapore airlines - miles?
« on: March 25, 2015, 01:28:23 PM »
I booked my tickets through Chase rewards, so I can earn frequent flyer miles.  Can I only earn on Singapore or are their partners?  What is the best program to use?

Very open question, but you should be able to credit to any of their partners.

I'm gonna earn soon Singapore Miles for a Family (flying with united), only way to use all family members miles together is by doing 'Redemption nominees'?

Can i use the 'nominees' miles for a United flight?

Redemption nominees are for redeeming your KrisFlyer miles for family members (or other people). These KF miles can be used on partners (such as United).

Each passenger would earn miles into their own frequent flier account. There's no Household Pooling accounts (like with Jetblue, British Airways and some other airlines).

Isn't JetBlue a Singapore partner (not that I am suggesting that crediting a Singapore flight to JetBlue is prudent)?

Also IINM Turkish has some form of Household pooling, and they are Star Alliance.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
