From the conversations I've had with frum professionals in this field, there is a lot being done, including reporting to the police. However, just because all of us armchair quarterbacks (mixed metaphor acknowledged) aren't aware of it doesn't make it untrue. It would seem the reason much if what is being done is not well known is because often the publicity is counter-productive, causes unnecessary chillul Hashem, and ruins lives based on suspicions. So it is dealt with in a more tznua (quiet) fashion which often gets more efficient results. Unless you live under a rock, I would think parents are at least aware of this issue.
And I believe that the majority of molestation are by family members (uncles, step-family, cousins) not in camps or schools

I am not the forum rabbi and i am not getting involved in the general conversation but from my understanding of the CC about this specific halacha that is not poshut at all... Its only if there r multiple kol's from numerous places of a person committing numerous sins that would make him an apikores or rasha. I dont know if everyone knows about something bec someone made a stink about it would qualify....

The first case I was talking about has been appealed, unsuccessfully.

If that happens it will definitely be posted along with all the JCW FB page updates... It would definitely not go unnoticed if he ever leaves prison, or submits an appeal.

Has it been confirmed that cyp*** is the defendant in that case, to sum up what I've heard nobody is %100 sure that it's even him being accused, and even if he actually is the defendant in the prison rape case nobody knows yet if he's guilty, cmiiw.
