Login location can be faked. Most probably a relative that knew the password and wanted to mess around.
Cant think of type of relative that would do that

I randomly got a email this morning from elal thanking me for signing up for their Matmid program
The email had my full name in there as well
Looks very legit and the email came from elal@elal.co.il
Was I hacked?

I checked my last account activity on gmail and there are multiple ip adreess even though i really only use 3 devices to log on. Does this necessarily mean that Ive been hacked or do ip addresses change? They are showing as the area I live in...

If they're all in your area, chances are it wasn't hacked. If you use a mobile device, your ip address can change multiple times a day.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Most of the advice above is pretty solid, thought I'd summarize and re-cap.

- As a few people mentioned above, turn on 2-factor authentication for your accounts that allow it - google, amazon, etc. - it just makes it one step harder to hack. Note, the 2FA Apps are safer than the ones that send a code to a text message.

- Obviously check your credit report, look for unauthorized accounts

- One thing that people may or may not realize - your e-mail account is your gateway to almost all of your online accounts. If someone gets access to your e-mail, they can essentially reset a lot of your account passwords without you even knowing about it.

- Try to change your passwords every couple of months, and don't use the same ones for different sites - once someone has your e-mail/password, they're likely to try multiple sites - i.e. amazon, ebay, paypal, chase, citi, etc. You may not have accounts or use the same passwords, but if you do, they've gotten easy access to more accounts.

- You could consider using a password manager as well.

- One more word to the wise - before you click any link in any e-mail, think about who sent it and why - if you get an e-mail from Bank of America that says your payment is late, but you don't have a BofA account - it might be a scam.

I’m freaking out. I’m convinced my gmail has been hacked. When I was composing an email  I started typing an address and I noticed a creepy email address with a creepy pic come up in suggestions. I suddenly noticed more email addresses I’ve never emailed before. What do I do??

Then, turn on 2 step verification.
Re-evaluate the quality of your new password and change again if you decide your new one is too weak.

You might not have been hacked!
I just started composing an email and put in an a in the address bar. A list of suggestions came up and when I hovered over 1 I didn't recognize, it said "From user's Google profile."
Maybe the weird suggestions you have are related to Google activity, not gmail hacking.

No, profile of a masked guy I do not see, definitely a different issue.

Do you have any other gmail addresses? Try looking at the suggestions on that one.
People put all sorts of pictures as their profile.  This guy thinks he's funny.
