nothing would be updated once that happens
But that does not make it a device from the past!

that is true but it is still a reason not to get it
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Alright I might look into it, because I really want a physical keyboard.

Do you know if it's available for sprint and what's the name of the latest model that has keyboard?

I got a classic for an employee and it needed to be reset.
Holy smokes! The thing took literally 45 minutes to get wiped and back to home screen. It's 2015, that's unacceptable. This phone didn't even have any apps installed yet.. Crazy

Arguing over the merits of the BB is pointless, the question was why people won't even TRY it and that's mainly a branding issue like people mentioned earlier.

I'm a die hard Blackberry fan for 2 reasons, the keyboard and email/hub. I do understand why people love Android/IOS, it's an OS that works. BlackBerry releases or leaks different OS versions with bugs all the time. Waze doesn't work well on my classic (loses GPS signal constantly), and I can go on.....BB has an app issue they can't do anything about it...Android runtime is better than nothing but it sucks.

Also, they release the Classic, so one would think they would put all the juice in this device instead it's a laggy device. I always dreamt of BB10 in the classic factor because these are the only BlackBerry people left and now they killed it. It looks like the people on top don't really use Blackberry's.

Why don't you use SwiftKey by now? Or any swipe keyboard?

Here's my personal experience, I couldn't wait for the Classic to come out and when it did I had it. Even though it has all the apps that I need thanks to the Amazon app store and sideloading it still is slow (not slow as in BlackBerry slow but slower then any decent android) and since the apps aren't optimized for BlackBerry I find the apps very buggy. Also there are a lot of annoying glitches that I wish they would've fixed since OS 10 came out. For me I think I'm permanently done wit BlackBerry.
