Fellow DDFers
I value your opinion and want to get your take on the matter- Basically, my father surprised my sister and brother and took them to last nights Rangers game as a graduation present. He bought 3 tickets on Stub hub in the 300s section- to make it easy, lets say he paid $600 for each ticket. Upon arrival to MSG at 700 (half hour before game time) he was told that 2 of the 3 tickets were already scanned (to make a long story short somehow the same tickets were sold on another website). My father immediately called Stub-hub. Initially, they told him there were no tickets available, but to their credit they eventually sent someone with a cab with 2 tickets in hand (in the 200 section). By the time my father got this all sorted out, the first period was over. In addition, due to the fact that 2 tickets were in 1 area, and 1 was in the other, my father ended up sitting away from his 2 children- had he not been abe to get 3 tickets in the same row originally he never would have gone (both are young teenagers and he was not able to enjoy the game as he kept on checking on them). We wanted to know what you feel fair compensation from stub hub would be.. Reimbursement of all 3 tickets ($1800)? Tickets to a future playoff game? Was the fact that we got better seats enough? What do you think.. We are not trying to take advantage of a system- we simply want to know what people think is fair..
Thanks
