Its good for fixing eyeglasses. You get what you pay for.
However it came with $100 off $160 at nakedwines.com. Dont see anything kosher...

Wasn't expecting much from it other than for some odds and ends and emergencies.  Hope its good enough for that.

I've gotten it too. I found it useless for kosher alcohol. In regards to non kosher, I really wouldn't know. I'm not really into that yayin nesech stuff .
