The Best PESACH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES- GEBROXTS
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 sticks margarine
3 packets (tsps.) vanilla sugar
1 pkg. 7 oz. ground filberts
1 pkg. 7 oz. ground almonds
1 cup potato starch
1 cup cake meal (finely ground matzah meal)
12 oz. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350̊. Cream sugar, eggs, margarine and vanilla until fluffy. Add nuts, cake meal and potato starch. Stir in chocolate chips. Form golf-ball shapes by rolling between fingers and drop on cookie sheet. Space 4 x 5. Flatten with palm to cookie shape. Bake 12-17 minutes on 350. Makes about 60 cookies.
FOR A NON-GEBROXT VERSION (not as yummy, but still good) replace the cake meal with another cup and don't flatten (it will spread)
