anyone with a good recommendation for a coffee machine? (not pods, keurig etc.)

My barista express is going strong since 2018, after 1000s of coffees only issue is there's slight dripping of the hot water spout while using the steam wand

I don't like the idea of popping in an ice capsule to my coffee, I wonder how long it would take to warm up to room temperature from the freezer

If you drink black coffee (and this is the perfect cup for that, almost no bitterness), the ice actually brings it to the perfect drinking temperature. If you add cream, yeah, the ice is a bit of an issue.

Since then the rubber gasket on the group head cracked and fell off as well

Doubt it seems like they have a some overengineered way of extracting the coffee, its deff cheaper than Starbucks so i guess that's the market they trying to target?
