No it's an extra light that's put inWhatever forget it
Yeah its possible that its just a random bulb. I had such a possibility, but I still can't find that bulb online to buy. I wouldn't mind testing it just in case

You have the right bulb.
Hazards most likely use the second filament of the brake and turn signal bulbs.
No. They have one or two filaments. Low filament is for running lights and high filament is for brake, turn, hazard lights.
The brake lights are a separate bulb in this car. They are located on the trunk hood

While your at it a close up even with the housing should do the trick
