In the United Kingdom and Australia, the term sandwich is more narrowly defined than in the United States: it refers only to an item which uses sliced bread from a loaf. An item with similar fillings, but using an entire bread roll cut horizontally in half, is always referred to as a roll. (In South Australia, there is a regional variant of the roll, superficially similar to a club sandwich, where the bread roll is sliced three times with parallel cuts, and filling is put in the first and third openings, but not the second. This makes the resulting double cut roll easier to handle: the top half and the bottom half are eaten separately.) Any hot item based on a bread roll is referred to as a burger, never as a sandwich. However, hot sliced (not ground) beef between two slices of toasted bread is referred to as a steak sandwich: it is the sliced loaf bread that distinguishes the steak sandwich from a burger.

So there we have it. By implication, Wikipedia says that in the US a hot dog in a bun is called a sandwich. And then we have a ruling from @aygart that Wikipedia can never be trusted, which means that in the US it is NOT a sandwich, but in the UK and Australia it is.😁

The only remaining question is what happens in other members of the Commonwealth.

Let me clarify
A sandwich refers to when something which goes with bread is placed between any two pieces of bread (hence, ice cream or Cheerios on bread is not a sandwich). With this definition, a hot dog would seem to be a sandwich.
However, there are certain "sandwiches" which are קובע שם לעצמם, have there own name, and are therefore not sandwiches. Two great examples of this are hot dogs and burgers (if you would slice up a hot dog and put it on white bread, it would be a sandwich). A hoagie or sub, while it has its own name, retains the sandwich name as well (with the exception of something like a meatball sub, which is just a sub and not a sandwich)

This is weird. Perhaps the seller gets closeouts or something like that, and every time an item sells out they attach a new item as a variation to keep the reviews because they don't have enough quantity to justify building up each ASIN.

He doesn't want to delete the reviews. That's the whole point - he wants it to look like this product has 81 reviews, when in reality it might have 0 or just a handful.

Sometimes the top few reviews are for the correct item, and you have to go back a few to see the others.

Because I don't think she's that sophisticated, and with no family around, and at the very least a house that's worth something in today's market, it's just ripe for abuse.
