Any indecisiveness belongs in the "up in the air" board

Up in the air usually means it's up for debate ;)

That's probably one of the most woke members here. He identifies as both 1 fish and 2 fish, red and blue. Pretty inclusive, if you ask me.
When you find yourself agreeing with me more often than not, it's time for a cheshbon hanefesh.

On a real serious note, there's one thing about this whole Dr. Seuss thing that puzzles me.

They are not banning all his books, just the six that contain offensive imagery. So if Dr. Seuss himself is not bad, why can't we keep those six books, and just erase those offensive pictures. Or, if you wish, replace them with Seuss-esque pictures that are not offensive?

Is there a reason we must lose the entire books??

Logic is the woke mob's kryptonite. They won't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Also, if these books are really so offensive are they offering a refund (or buyback) for those who bought them over the past 80 years? Or are they going to keep all the money they made on the books?

We were racist then so it was fine.

There’s a great episode in R’ Yisroel Miller’s book “In pursuit of Torah Wisdom” where the author visited the library during National Banned Book week, where all sorts of lewd and anti-religion books were on display as a way of paying homage to our enlightened non-censoring ways. The author went to the librarian to request a copy of a book from his youth- “Little Black Sambo”. Horrified, the librarian lectured him on choosing to read a book that was terribly racist, informing him that of course they do not carry such literature. Rabbi Miller took a look around, apologized, and left.

Rav Moshe and Rav Yaakov were both niftar in Adar of 1986. IINM, there was also a third gadol who was niftar that month. Anyone remember who it was?

I don't know the answer to that question, but I just wanted to point out that Rav Yaakov was niftar at the end of Adar 1 and Rav Moshe was niftar in the middle of Adar 2, so most years, Rav Moshe's Yartzheit is commemorated before Rav Yaakov's despite the fact that the Petirah was later.

Thoughts on renaming this to Pesach Program Discussion Master Thread?

There is unfortunately lots of negativity in the industry, but that current title is just depressing.
