Anyone else walk in to a Chabad House in the middle of nowhere, see people who are clearly not locals (NY/NJ), and get the urge to ask them their DDF handles?

Why do some people find the need to list a price for an item they wish to sell in a cryptic way, like based on the listing price or manufacturer's suggested retail price?

Why can't you just write the plain, simple price?

Many manufacturers/distributors require MAP (minimum advertised price)

On a serious note - no. Besides for two days a year, Yom Kippur and Tisha B'av, when Jews are forbidden from wearing leather shoes. Then most wear crocks, non-leather sneakers, or tennis shoes.
