I haven't been following Fox news coverage much lately, but I keep seeing CV and others saying that their reporting of Ukraine is wrong and dangerous.

In a simple response, can someone share what Fox is saying different than others?

Is early departure a thing? Just had a plane close the doors 12 minutes early and announce they were leaving early. A bunch of people missed the flight by minutes, even though they weren't really late.

I've seen this. Their excuse is that they can close the doors up to 15 minutes before. Had this on multiple airlines, and it's impacted me on southwest and air Canada. Both times they ended up letting us on, because they hadn't pulled away yet. But I've heard stories where they didn't

I know someone actually who showed up and the gate door was closed. Due to staffing shortages there was no one remaining at the counter. So he simply opened the door and walk down to the plane. Of course this set off some alarms and security came down. He was already by the aircraft and played kind of dumb and all worked out.

Legally they can do that if you don't check in on time or come to the gate on time. (45/30 minutes before departure IIRC)

Yes, airlines are closing doors and giving away seats at T-15 more than ever.

Fwiw, Ryan must have told us close to ten times that they will close the door 15 before and that if we don't complete the security at the gate by then we will miss the flight.

where can i find an out of print jewish book? im looking for a book called lita mechorati (my homeland lithuania) by avraham kariv. yes i found several options on amazon ebay etc. ill be in isreal iyh soon - is anyone familiar with book stores that might carry an out of print book like this that i can get for cheaper?
in america: would biegeleisens know off hand if they have it or id have to look around?
