R Moshe wrote about it in his hakdama to Igros too, but there is no indication that the organization of volumes had to do with anything other than chronology.

I’m going to address the elephant in the room:
What’s with the igros moshe setup?? Why is it setup like with orchos chaim 1, yoreh deah 3, and choshen mishpat 2 in 1 volume?? Does it not make sense to print all of yoreh deah in its own volumes, and move on to the other sections with their own volumes??

The way I understand it, the volumes came out during Rav Moshe's lifetime, so he printed them as they were written (or as he felt they should be printed). Now, there would be a drawback in printing them all together, as the authenticity of the earlier volumes is much more accepted than the last one/two/two-and-a-half/three volumes, so keeping them separate would make sense.

its a new year! and with that comes a new 200$ to spend at dell! im having lots of difficulty deciding what items i *need* so i need some help
heres what i bought the last 3 times:

nice printer,
megaboom3 speakers,
and 200$ towards a laptop.

In addition, I have the following pieces of mishigas:

airpods (rules out all headphones/earbuds. yes even the bose ones that dan loves)
blink doorbell
a 2nd monitor
iPad/phone (why am i telling you all this?)
projector w screen
wireless mouse

I dont have wifi in my house so all those router things are out.
im not a gamer
no need for a webcam
or a smart watch of any sort

having said all this (phew!) i put a few things into my cart that i frankly dont feel i need but its just something i dont yet have.
they are:

smart thermostats

power banks

indoor security cameras

Or should I get another megaboom3 speaker so I could connect them together?? I honestly don’t even use the one I have that often, but you know..
can someone help me decide why i might need any of these items?

but even more: if theres something fantastic that i simply forgot all about, please tell me!!

Lol I also already have Airpods and absolutely love them but decided to buy the Bose after enough pushing from Dan and not knowing what else to get from Dell. Now I am at a complete loss as for what to do with them so they are just sitting in my closet as I continue to use my Airpods.
