I think the question was if whatever form technology you are using could do the renaming.

Right, so my question is if this can this be done in Google sheets/forms? If not, what form technology does do it? (Wordpress is not being used)

I'm pretty sure you could do this with Zapier. Are you familiar with it at all?

I'm looking at the Google Drive actions and I don't se one for renaming files but there is a Copy File action which I believe lets you set a new file name. So you'd need a folder for the original files and then a new folder for the renamed files. You could have the zap run when a new line is added to the spreadsheet and use the info from that row to set the new file name.

If one is setting up a form for people to upload files, is there a way to have the file name changed when it is downloaded, for example making the file name the name of the person who is submitting the form?

Impossible. You have to define your meaning and see if the other person is willing to discuss it using your definition or have the other person define it and use that definition for all purposes in the conversation, make sure not to slip back into your definition.

Using that now, but I'm looking for something a little more robust. The idea is that team members can write down their notes, and then color code them as they are addressed. We're a bunch of ADD folks who have a ton of random ideas that get lost in the mix if we don't write them down and assign priority levels to them.
