I'm scheduled to fly ewr-pbi Thursday night, returning mtz'sh. Assuming forecasts stay bad, what's the chance of getting JetBlue to refund my non refundable tickets in advance of an expected blizzard? Don't want to get stuck in fl while all my kids are at the in laws in Monsey

I'd assume we'll see weather waivers by tomorrow evening if the storm is still predicted.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Touche but don't want to lose the opportunity to leave them there in the future. And I'm more concerned right now about missing work. Unfortunately JetBlue won't let me change my tickets to next weekend so the trip is still on...

What is "Yeshiva Week"?

From what I understand (FWIU?) it's the Jewish equivalent to spring/winter break?

It's the week (10 days in many cases) in the winter that all the yeshivas have off (the more mod ortho ones) rather than having christmas/new years vacay.

I'm looking to buy good boots that are weather proof and also look like regular shoes. I saw someone yesterday with very nice shoes and then noticed that they are really boots.... (Didn't want to ask him where he got them on shabbos)

Anyone know of anything interesting?

You're looking for the half shoe half boots (it only goes up around 6 inches), or real boots just with a nice bottom?
I'm not who you think I am.

It's a higher shoe. I use it for a boot.

Thanks for all of those. Taller boots would be better but i may get one of those anyway.

I'm interested in getting a hotel room near LGA for tomorrow night. Are there any SPG hotels there? Or BRG hot points?
