Not no hot water. Just the shower is not as hot as it used to be a few days ago.
Check to see if it's just that shower. I'm gonna take an educated guess and say you have a mixing valve. There is a chance your mixing valve is broken. It can be that it's letting in more cold then it should even on the hottest setting. A way around the problem (not a fix) would be to move up the scorch plug a few nothches. If you do that you just need to be aware that your shower may be able to get dangerously hot.

Anything is possible but it's doubtful. Especially since you said it was working a few days ago. It's most probably a worn out o ring. It's actually not that uncommon. Either way it would be cool if someone started a DIY threads.

I'd go see a shrink first if I still remembered 18 years later where I saw a roach.
