If their phone system has an auto-recording saying that they "may" be recording you, do you need to notify them that you "may" be recording it as well?

Both parties would know it's being recorded, just 1 party might not know that it's being recorded by both parties.

Problem with that app linked above is that I have to put them on hold for a second to merge the calls and I don't want to do that. Don't want them to have any clue that I'm recording the call.

Then there should be better apps than that to do the job. I have the [good old] centro, and even that has an app that does it seamlessly, with many convenient features and options.
