If you A) happen to have an iPhone, and B) are able to Jailbreak (or already Jail-broken).. Then there's a great app on Cydia available called AudioRecorder 2.

Problem with that app linked above is that I have to put them on hold for a second to merge the calls and I don't want to do that. Don't want them to have any clue that I'm recording the call.

I looked that app up. It says I have to dial a number and then merge the calls. Either way, phone call was this morning. Answered it sans recording and the person didn't say anything that he could later regret / I could hold against him. So turns out there was no need for a recording.

Dunno. For me it runs automatically. Never pressed anything once I downloaded it and I have all my calls recorded.
