These values are sale values. The real values depend on how you use them. Technically, you are always losing value when transferring, as transferring a flexible currency rentals entails losing versatility. However, ultimately the purpose of the points is to transfer and book.

Only other transfer option to DL is from SPG (which are valued higher then MR), but there's no transfer fee and you get the bonus 5k per 20k transfer.

What do you consider a good use of SPG btw?

I would use SPG either for hotels or for for certain bookings that can't be done with transfers from other currencies. It all depends on your situation though, if this is something you need to book then the value becomes greater than some other theoretical flight or hotel.

I didn't say I wasn't in my twenties, I also didn't say I was. I don't need you to go back to the ghost but I think the dragon is just too "in-your-face" so to speak. Although it does guarantee that everyone knows when it's you posting
